Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling device that is capable of tightening and contouring the face and body through subdermal adipose remodeling. Penetrating deeper and delivering more energy than any other microneedling device, the Morpheus8 transforms the aging face and body, giving it a smoother and sleeker appearance. At Kessel Dermatology, servicing the Hamilton Square, Trenton, and Mercer County areas in New Jersey, our experienced providers use Morpheus8 for all skin types to treat wrinkles, loose skin, acne scars, stretch marks, surgical scars and more.

Morpheus8 by InMode is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment designed to tighten and remodel the skin of the face and body. By combining microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy, Morpheus8 stimulates collagen, fibrin, and elastin production to improve skin laxity, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and more.
Morpheus8 can be customized for different treatment areas and can be safely used on all skin types.
Morpheus8 can be used to improve:
Commonly treated areas include:

Morpheus8 uses microneedles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy into targeted layers beneath the skin.
The microneedles create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body's natural healing response, while RF energy heats deeper tissue to stimulate collagen, fibrin, and elastin production. Treatment depth and energy can be customized based on the treatment area and your individual needs.
This combination allows Morpheus8 to address the deeper layers of the skin, improving firmness, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. In certain areas, Morpheus8 can also be used for subdermal fat remodeling and contouring.
Provider experience is especially important with Morpheus8. Selecting the appropriate treatment depth, energy level, and number of passes for each area can significantly affect both results and safety.
Our aesthetic medicine expert, Savy Guthrie, MPAS, PA-C, has worked in dermatology for over 20 years and has extensive experience performing Morpheus8 treatments. She was named by InMode as one of the top 500 Morpheus8 providers in North America in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Each treatment is customized based on the treatment area, skin type, and individual aesthetic goals.
Most patients undergo a series of approximately three Morpheus8 treatments spaced about one month apart.
The number of treatments recommended may vary depending on the area being treated, your skin, and your desired results.
Morpheus8 results develop gradually as new collagen, fibrin and elastin are produced.
Visible improvement can begin within approximately six to eight weeks, with continued improvement over time. After a series of three facial treatments, final results are generally seen around four months after the final treatment. For Body treatments, results may continue to develop for up to six months.
Downtime varies depending on the treatment area and treatment parameters.
You may experience redness, swelling, and visible micro-lesions for several days following treatment. Bruising is also possible, particularly when treating around the eyes. Makeup can generally be applied two days after treatment.
We recommend allowing approximately two weeks between your Morpheus8 treatment and an important event.
You will receive detailed written aftercare instructions following your Morpheus8 treatment.
These include temporarily avoiding spray products and medicated topical products. Your normal skincare routine can generally be resumed once redness has resolved and any peeling has stopped.
Daily use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen is also recommended to protect your skin and help prevent future sun damage and premature aging.
